MI Member Care Bootcamp Sep 2015 - Registrations close 31 July

The first South Pacific Region Member Care Conference

Good Member Care doesn’t just happen, it requires information, experience, practice and resources.

This conference, held from 7-11 September 2015 in Sydney, will bring together people from all over Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific Islands, to learn, discover, experience, and share how to do Member Care well.

The conference is aimed at mission leaders, staff, multicultural teams, trainers, churches, counsellors, and others involved in the care of missionaries.

Keynote Speaker: Marion Knell is an international consultant on the subject of raising families overseas, and on cross-cultural transition, adjustment, and re-entry.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Times: Conference arrivals will be from 3pm on Monday.
Dinner will be at 6pm and the conference program commences at 7.30pm.
The conference will conclude at 11am on Friday.

Travel: A shuttle service from/to Sydney airport may be arranged depending on demand.
For international travellers travel insurance (including health cover) is mandatory.
The venue is a 15 minute walk from Pymble Station or a bus from Gordon station stops at the front entrance.

OTHER INFORMATION
Workshops: You will be given an opportunity to indicate your workshop preferences before the conference.
Children: Children are unable to attend.
Food allergies: Where possible dietary requirements will be catered for.
Accommodation: Most rooms are twin share. Linen and meals are provided.
